July 6, I had my final chemo (6 treatments...1 every 3 weeks of taxotere/cytosin sp?). Finshed 7 weeks of radiation on September 19th. Here I am on October 26 with a lump under my right arm...same side where lump was removed from my breast in February. I have a biopsy on Thursday. Am I afraid? YES! Could I have at least be treatment free for a year before finding something else!!! Anyone else experience something like this so soon after treatment. Oh by the way triple negative! Just a bit worried here...

I agree with lexislove - this is very scary, but there is a real chance this is something non-cancerous :> Waiting is so hard so hang in there and keep us updated. Don't borry worry (easy to say huh). Lymph nodes swell for other reasons than cancer. Good for you getting it checked out. The waiting game really sucks though. Sending you positive thoughts. Jennifer Diagnosis: 2/22/2008, IDC, 2cm, Stage IV, Grade 3, 4/9 nodes, mets, ER-/PR-, HER2+ |
