Keep your fingers crossed that the third time is the charm. Her doctors felt that everything went well but she still has months of waiting for the bones to grow and knit together.

She has all kinds of metal rods in the leg and one of them masked the break. They found it when she was sent for a CT scan. Plus she is 51 and bones don't heal as well as when we were teenagers.
