Anyway, I've read many forums in the past and found them very useful and enlightening. I dont really know much about the disease and I don't know what the oncologist says - he doesn't seem to be a great communicator. So, has anybody heard of a similar path for advanced cancer - coming back so late, spreading to the bones and stomach etc and what might the latest development with the diarreah mean? It might be there is something she can do to help or a new drug to test -any help I can get her or uplifting stories I can pass on would be terrific to try and raise her spirits which is all I can really do for now.

Zometa has been a great drug for me for the last 3 years. I have scans every 6 months. Hope they can get this under control with your Mom.

He had a bad fall and went to Hospice and then to a nursing home, she tried to do her best, but it was too much. he was quite negitive and with her too, felt sorry for her at times.
