Hello ladies~
I have read a few of the threads about pregnancy after BC. I was diagnosed at 34, had a double mast but was lucky and avoided chemo and rads. I was on tamoxifen for just over 2 1/2 years and my doc allowed to go off and start trying for a family. We were given the green light in January.
Well, yesterdays pregnancy test shows 2 pink lines. OMG, I'm pregnant. And scared....
Are there things I should pay attention too or watch for? My cancer was estrogen positive so I'm concerned about the increase in hormones triggering a recurrance. My onc. says "not to worry" but that's my MO. A worrier.
And to be honest, I'm a bit naive about pregnancy, I think I need to do some reading up on it. I know I should avoid alcohol and caffeine, that's the extent of my knowledge. Ugh! HELP!

I hate being bounced around.... although my GYN is a doll. He was the first one to say "assume its cancer" when I presented with bloody nipple discharge (no lump) in 2004. |
