I was listening to National Public Radio on Valentine's Day, when they ran a feature called something like Six Word Stories. They gave several examples.

The first was done by the novelist Ernest Hemingway:

"For sale: Baby shoes. Never worn."

The other came from an anonymous man:

"She developed Non-Hodgkins lymphoma. I bailed."

I thought the six word format would be interesting to try. There have been several books written using a collection of stories sent in. Perhaps the moderators would consider using our stories as part of a fund raising effort, to support this site. (It can't be cheap!)
