That would be me. I didn't have nipple-sparing, tho, because I had my mastectomy in Minnesota and the cancer was too close to the nipple. I had my recon by Dr. DellaCroce in New Orleans. If I have the other side done prophlactically, I'll definitely have nipple sparing at NOLA. Small breast size does not preclude that. Do you have any other questions? Hi Minnesota :) Nice to hear from you again. I was wondering if I worded my topic right? It could be read either way. I have an A and want to go larger or I don't have an A and want to go smaller. I want to go smaller with reconstruction should I choose that route. |

Hi Cleo! I took it to mean that you are a A and want to stay an A and was wondering if small size would somehow interfere with nipple sparing. Dx 5/2006, LCIS, 4cm, Stage 0, 0/1 nodes, ER+/PR+, HER2- |

Yes glad u understood. Now that I have spent hours exploring reconstruction, I have decided to do PBM for my LCIS and troubled breasts. |

Cleo, That's great that you were able to make your decision. I think some degree of peace comes with it. I will envy you when you have it all behind you and don't have to worry about either breast anymore. You'll have beautiful breasts with new filling that will not get cancer! What type of recon did you decide on? Dx 5/2006, LCIS, 4cm, Stage 0, 0/1 nodes, ER+/PR+, HER2- |
