Hi, I just signed up.  About a week ago I noticed my breast was itchy, and looked in a mirror and saw that below my areola I have a round bright pink patch, about two inches in diameter (I am large-breasted) which was very sore when I touched it.  I know this sounds like it could be inflammatory breast cancer, but, it has a sore in the middle of it which has been bleeding all week.  I know, everyone will say I should get to a doctor and I will when I can, but right now I am in a crisis situation with my son and his emotional/chemical dependence situation.  I just needed to reach out and hear some feedback if you have a minute.  Thanks a lot.

RobbieU,

So sorry you are going through so much right now...  It's a difficult time, for sure...

Just want to welcome you to this site, and to let you know that I'm thinking about you.

No advice here, just HUGS!!!   You've come to the right place for support.  Others will be along soon who know more about this than I do.  I didn't have that particular condition.

HUGS

Thank you very much for the kind note.  I have researched the heck out of the internet and haven't seen anywhere mention bleeding or oozing from a spot on the breast, other than the nipple, connected with breast cancer so I have pretty much decided this really is just some sort of boil, though at age 52 I have never had anything like it.  With the stress I've been going through it is no wonder my body is ailing.
