We are planning a get together for Ontario members.

Date:  Sunday, August 9, 2009

Time:  2:00

Pace:  Canyon Creek Restaurant (beside Vaughn Mills Mall)

These are the members planning to attend:

Barbe, BMac, Carolyn, crazydaisy, dreamwriter, hrf, Katalin, KerryMac, Kily, mke, mumayan, PIP, Sherry, thisisme.

Beesie will try to come.  Konakat will be with us telepathically.

Edited to say that gibby will be unable to attend.

If anyone needs a ride, just ask.  There are several of us willing and able to help.

Edited to add gigigigi (did I get enough 'gi's in there?) will be coming and lindasa would like to but is unable to this time.

I am only going to work a half day on the Sunday and then I leave for a weeks holiday immediately after our lunch! My son is getting married in North Bay and my sibs are putting my DH and I up at Deerhurst for the 5 days prior to heading even further north. They are coming in from out of town and wanted a 'vacation' for the week before.

Barbe,

how exciting.  I used to do the drive from Orillia to North Bay twice a week when I was in University.  It's a lovely city.  I have relative there too.  Deerhurst is somewhere I've never been but always wanted to check out.  Sounds like a blast.

Have we decided on a time for this shin dig?

Is it still 2:00 or earlier for lunch.  Maybe we should keep it at 2:00 and just have coffee and a dessert.

You gals are going to have such a great time!  I think someone should videotape it too so that those of us who can't join you can at least HEAR the event -- judging by the repartee on this thread, I think it could make a great, hilarious documentary!  We could call it The Bald and the Boobless. Laughing

Hugs to all!  Linda

I can't guarantee a ride because I still don't know for sure if I will be here then, but mumayan can give people a ride (if she isn't on vacation).  I'm sure that a ride can be arranged for anyone who wants one.
