<font> Hi ladies

I no longer go into chat very often, but I do wonder how my friends from my days on chemo etc are.

So.....how are you all? whats going on in your lives?

I thought it might be a nice idea, for ladies who maybe check the board, to catch up with each other here.

Please let us know how you are all doing!

I'm almost 2 years out from dx, so woo hoo for me!

In remission since August, working full time, exercising four days a week at the health club, and just seem to be starting a home business making jewelry. I first got into chat here in October 2003.....and made my first ever cyber friend! We are still in touch (Lornauk) though she doesn't come on the boards any more.

I do still read the discussion boards, but rarely go into chat anymore; I am now over 5 years since dx and doing fine (well....so far, so good!)

But, sadly, my life is now taken up with visiting my mom and looking after my dad; my mom was dx with bc about a year ago, which seems to be stable. But she was dx with colon ca (unrelated to bc) and needed 2 emergency surgeries at the very beginning of this year. She is not in a good shape, and is very debilitated.

I still feel a strong connection to all of you in here.

I'm 18 months out, but still go into chat a lot on Friday nights - the most fun night to be in there! Four of us from PA met last month (nancycl, who posted a few days ago, was one of them! The other two were beth1225 and shelley) Had a great time. I'm going to go check out the pinkstock website - I'm not familiar with that!

I am also getting back to "normal" what ever that is now. Been up to about 30 hours a week...wonder if I will get back to the 50+ I used to do...but will be very happy with 40.

Tink...I hope you have been able to work out the AI thing. I commented on your thread about what it took for me to find one that seems to be OK for me....will be keeping a good thought for your recon.

I do still make hats for some of the new "chemo" ladies in chat when I do go in. I want to support them how I can, but don't always have the energy to chat so long. Also still helping my neighbor get settled into her AI part of tx also....she is just months behind me in tx.

I am so happy to see you all here...bad, wats..lynny...marle, purple, jennie, celia, nancy, mags, jankay.........all my original mentors. I thank God for you every day. I will be sure to check this thread often.

Leave it to tink to come up with such a good idea. As far as the bc goes, everything is fine. Iam an 8 yr survior. Like some of u, I have had other health problems which some of u know about. I have parkinsons disease, or a form of parkinsons, which means it is an unusal case.
I am trying to decide whether to have a type of brain surgery called DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) which there is a good results with. I have to research to find the best hospital and doctor.
please pray for me so i make the right decision.

I agree...leave it to Tink to come up with a good idea...she really is a "fairy"...and "I do believe in fairies" as Peter Pan would say.

I am so glad you ladies are here....I needed you in chat and it is a comfort to see you all here too.....

Good thoughts for all...

We sure had a great group - between cyber food fights, parties, tears, laughter and lasting friendships! You guys were amazing support during some very challenging times.
This is great to keep in touch!
(( HUGS ))

Things have been very good - busy - but good!
It will be 3 years this August and I am still dancing with NED!

For those dancing with NED congrats! I am also dancing. I have tests next week and two weeks later....that time. I am of the opinion everything is OK here though.

Hugs to my friends that helped me so much through all this.
