Sure Tink, we want you to be there for sure. You pick the time...we will be there. And the 4th Friday was just an example...let's do the evening that would be best for everyone. Tink, get with everyone and see what is best for all. My second phase of recon is May 7th, I may not be much help. Yeah, will be great. Doris |

hey everyone......its imhere4u! tink thank you so much for my angel, i appreciate all of your prayers and thoughts. i have been trying to keep everyone posted the best i can. i want you all to know, i had surgery last monday to repair an area of my chest. the surgery went well. i had to take shots for a week because my white counts were down, but they went up and the surgery was done.thank god! i go tomorrow for my next chemo. then tuesday i will start my nupregen shots for several days to keep my white counts up. my dr doesnt want to give them the chance to go down again so this is the game plan each treatment from here on out. i started the steroid today and will take it for 3 days to help with the side effects of the chemo. i want you all to know that im doing good. i feel good and strong inspite of the few things i had to deal with the last time! i am working when i feel up to it and staying home when i dont. my kids and friends are keeping the cleaning going thru all of this. i am very blessed to have such a support system like i do. i have told them that my name is rocky balboa, my gloves are on and im going to the top of the stairs lol lol. anyway thank you all again for all you support and prayers. i dont go on line much or in the chat room. but i want you all to know that i love you all and apprecaite you more than you will know. i spoke with jankay and told her all that had been going on. i might try and go in chat sometime to see if my ole biddies are there. till then i hope all is well with all of you and thx again......love rita

Wow, 36-I spent sometime reading this thread today....Im far from meeting the requirement of "chatters 05 and earlier" (havent even made it to my 3 months yet)...but as I read your thread I counted how many of your group have chimed in....thats the 36!!!!! This thread is wonderful.....it gives us newbies concrete, solid proof that WE too can be here years down the road as with you ladies here..... I dont want to disturb your group here but wanted to post how much I think this long term thread helps the new people here to.....Thank You for showing us that BC is doable and WE can do it ![]() Hugs Jule |

Thank you for the link, Raven. For some reason I haven't figured out, I cannot log into the chat site. The stupid computer says a certificate is invalid and won't give me the option to allow the login part to download and Java has something to do with it also. But thanks to the link I made it this far! I miss all you guys so very much! I was diagnosed in February 2005 and I'm goin' strong. (A few problems with my hands but that's another discussion) My mother, however, was just diagnosed with omentum cancer and starts chemotherapy treatments tomorrow, IF she will go. She's not too sure she will go through with it. I'm SO upset with her but in the final analysis, it is her decision. I tried to remind her that I'd done chemo and it can be done but she's just plain chicken. Losing her hair and not having a helpful husband are both playing a huge part in her decision or rather indecision. If anyone has suggestions on either of my present problems, the computer situation or a convincing argument to use with my mother, they would be appreciated. Love, love, love to all of you! |
