About my 3rd cycle of chemo (TCH), I noticed pain when having sex. I did break out with a mouth sore and upon explaining such to my onc, she prescribed Valtrex. She said I should take it while on chemo and I did.
I refrained from having sex since but now 6 weeks out from my last (6th cycle) chemo and 2 weeks out since my mastectomy, I'm wondering if it's safe to try. Should I try the over the counter warming gels? I'm just afraid that I may irritate that of what was obvisiouly affected with chemo.
I was having sex just fine with no pain, up until the end of my 3rd cycle. And now having been off of chemo for 6 weeks I'm wondering if it's safe to try??
