Hi everybody- I am getting different feedback from friends, onco nurses, and my MDs re: vitamins during chemo. Some say only a multivitamin, others say Calcium with D for bones strength against possible bone mets. Then there are the immune boosters at the health food store and tea a friend of mine is drinking from Canada. I'm so confused! I would appreciate any sound advice that I could discuss with my Oncologist. Also I might get Neulasta or Neupogen if my "count" is done next week. I am doing well with the chemo ( did 1st tx) but am scared of side effects of these blood booster drugs. Anyone know some good stuff about them? God Bless You All,Judy

I did not get any infections during chemo, and I expected to get at least one cold, so I assume that the Neulasta kept my white blood cell count up to the point where my immune system functioned normally.
