My mom is a breast cancer patient. After her surgery, 6 chemos and 25 radios, she went for the scan. The scan showed a lump near the spinal. The onco said this is not common for cancer cells to spread to the area and recommended to have another 15 radios, She did it.
She went to another doc, the doc asked if my mom had fell and hit her spine. My mom said yes, and the doc said that the lump is actually the bruise and it will not reduce the size from radio as the body is weak. The doctor prescribed my mom some medication.
Does anybody know if things like that is true or things like that have occur to you? It is because I have no ideas. Is the lump is another cancer cells or bruise? I really want to know.
