I wouldn't be concerned until you get the biopsy done and something shows a reason to be concerned. Just stay on top of everything and try to ask your doc the questions. Of course, I always forget to ask certain questions until I get home. :) Until your biopsy, this is a good place to be. Best of luck!

Mom of 5, I just noticed this thread. I hope your lump is benign. If it is, and I am not a doctor, after reading your post, I want you to consider a prophylactic mastectomy.
I tested positive for BRACA 2. I am adopted. No one in my family had breast cancer. I do. I wish I knew to get a prophylactic mastectomy.
That way I could have avoided chemo and possibly radiation.
You have a very strong history. I want you to break the pattern in your family if it turns out benign.
If it turns out the other, you will get through it. Treatment has changed tremendously. This board is a fantastic source of strength and comfort.
I know waiting for results is the hardest part. Remember 80 percent are benign. I responded to a woman the other day, I was almost sure from her symptoms that it was malignant, however she was fortunate and it was benign. I hope the same for you.
Please consider my suggestion though based in your family history.
From your report, it is small and oval shape is a good thing. My bad lump said taller than wide. Oval is really good. However, this is just speculation. No vascularity is good too.
Good luck. I want someone else to avoid all this treatment!
