I have an appt to see a lymphedema specialist next week, but I'm hoping it will reverse itself on its own...does that ever happen? I can't stand this!!! Is it possible to get a case of lymphedema, manage it through therapy and then never have to deal with it again (except by prevention and being careful)?

For some reason my other arm was swollen to- I also had SNB, and therapist said it's less of a percent, but does happen. She says to do exercise everyday even when the swelling goes down and that I will have to be extra careful and try to set limitations or at less start slowly again to lift weights and see what happens. Frankly I'm just doing the minimum at the gyn now, until I get my nerve up to try again.
