ok, so this months mamo has junk in it

surgeon says I need a biopsy to see if it is B9 cysts or nasty stuff again, that would mean a mastectomy since I have already done the full deal of radiation and all

so is there anything I should do or can do to prevent the lymphodemia getting worse than the minor lymoho I have now in my trunk?

The trick is to keep pain and swelling to a minimum and avoid infection. Check with your surgeon about prophylactic antibiotics to start a day or two before and a few days after. Use pain relief and cool compresses as needed (keeping in mind that extreme cold is not a good thing, but cooling it down is). Then be aware of infection risk and act promptly if you notice any signs of infection:

And for sure keep us posted! Looking forward with you to smooth sailing and all good news!Smile

Real gentle hugs,

thanks Binney, I knew you would be the one to ask.  lots of decisions to be made in the coming days and it is good to have folks on this board to ask

step by step and I WILL get through this stuff, did 4 years ago and I know a lot more of what to expect now then before
