Hi Kim,

You are my hero too. Your posts have always been so encouraging for me and bring me so much hope. Just yesterday I found an old thread where you had posted that you had positive mammary nodes as well (I have one, and it's freaked me out!) and you have no idea how it turned my day around, knowing you are doing so well.

I loved your story -- and BTW, you have a beautiful family!!

thanks for posting this - made my day!

Jackie

Kim I enjoyed the strength I read in your story.  We are all helped when others share their experiences.  As Beverly mentioned, the "pet peaves" were so right on.  Thanks.

I loved reading your story! I remember being told some of the same things (slow growing, etc) and I also ended up with positive lymph nodes. It all sent me reeling for awhile. I know I'll never know "why me" but I choose to make the best of the life I have now. It's not the same as before cancer but I thank God every day that I'm here with my family and doing well. I printed off your story to have as a great positive reminder on days I need one! Thanks

Your story is sad, yet beautiful and encouraging.  you and I are very similar.  I too have a thyroid issue and have 3 in there.  the endo I saw acts like I'm a big baby, and told me the same thing.  it grows slow.  My initial test came back negative too, but there was only 1 cell they could even test out of 5 viles!  You've inspired me to have it further checked by someone else!

May God bess you, your beautiful children, and husband!!
