Girls,

We're going to Disney next month!!!!!!!!!  And quite honestly, I've been a little apprehensive about it because of Dave's health.  But with the great news he got today at the NIH (see DH Topic), I'm so optimistic that it will be a wonderful trip!  In fact, I'm so excited I can't stand it.  And I will tell you that we are going on this trip thanks to the wonderful generosity of a great friend on this forum.

I am so blessed to have all of you in our life.  You have no idea what your support has meant to me over the last three years.

THANK YOU, MY FRIENDS!!!!!

Love

Bobbie

I love Disney and know you will have a great time................. How wonderful to have a friend give you a trip.  I received a trip from a friend of mine between surgery and chemo, which was a great way to step away from all of this - Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!

I wish you were coming to Disneyland...it's only an hour away. I'd drive up to Anaheim to see you! But Disney World is much closer to you and, frankly, a lot more exciting. Have a great time and post some pics!

I'm going to Philadelphia/New Jersey in three weeks to see my best friend. Can't wait! Haven't seen her since before bc.

Have tons o' fun!  Have you been before?  If not, check out the Fast Passes in each park to get on the rides in a more civilized way..., and pre-book the buffet at the Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom. I'm a disney addict!

Wow, there are some beautiful people on this forum!  My heart melts for the way the women here look after each other.  Enjoy your trip!

WONDERFUL!

We are big Diznoids.  Please note that Disney is really excellent about health accommodations.  Don't buy into the lie the 'handicapped access' is fast, but sometimes allows easier access.  Go to Guest Services on your arrival and request a "Guest Assistance Card" (known as a GAC.)  There is a lot of info on the Disney related boards.  On one of our trips, I broke my leg just before we left (no weight-bearing cast.)  You'll have a fantastic time.

Peace,

Beth
