So I have been taking tamoxifen for 1 month now. Just about two weeks ago I started to have on/off mild radiating aches/pains in my legs. Has anyone experienced this? I had bloodwork done today to check my Iron.

Well bloodwork came back and my lymphocytes are low (693). Going to Sloan tomorrow for Doppler of my legs to rule out blood clots. Crossing my fingers! Diagnosis: 4/2009, IDC, 2cm, Stage IIIa, Grade 3, 5/27 nodes, ER+/PR+, HER2- |

I've been taking tamoxifen for a year now. I have some leg aches, and my hands sometimes feel stiff in the morning. About once a month, I'll also have leg cramps in weird places (not just the calf), especially at night. My onc said these are classic tamoxifen side-effects. Annoying sometimes, but not as annoying as a recurrence. Diagnosis: 2/8/2008, IDC, Stage IIIa, Grade 3, 9/30 nodes, ER+/PR+, HER2- |

Went to my oncologist and she said this is more likely left over side effects from chemo (finished in mid September). Also did an ultrasound of my legs to rule out DVT and that was fine! Diagnosis: 4/2009, IDC, 2cm, Stage IIIa, Grade 3, 5/27 nodes, ER+/PR+, HER2- |
