Hello there, my name is Karen, and my Mum Corinne is currently fighting for her life. She was dxed with bc(her2+) in Dec 2006, she went thru all the usual treatments, and was given the ok, that they had gotten all the cancer. In Sept she got sick, and in Oct she was admitted to the hospital with what we thought was pneumonia. Sadly we were told that her cancer has metastasized. It has spread to her lungs. She also has a meligment plura effusion on the right side.

She has been in the hospital for over a month, and on a vent for two weeks. She is getting chemo, and first the Dr. said it was a 50% 50% change the chemo would work. Today they gave us only a 10% change.

I am not sure why I am here, just looking for some advice, words..anything...
