Good morning and thanks again for such a wonderful support system. I had a question. I just received my results from my abdominal ultrasound. I had one done because of elevated liver enzymes. It showed a fatty liver and it said my liver was 19.5 cm. First of all, is my liver enlarged  ?? and does a fatty liver predispose me to liver mets. There were no lesions found. Thanks again for answering my questions. You are all wonderful. When does the worry ever stop with having breast cancer. Prayer helps. Kathy

Kathy, congratulations on not having any lesions on your liver!  That's all you should be thinking about and TRY not to worry about what might happen.

I really can't tell you  what a normal size for a liver is and I do know that a lot of people have fatty liver's due to other things like alcohol consumption, even small amounts. Be sure to ask your doctor about your concerns on your next visit.

For now I would rejoice the fact that you do not have any lesions in your liver!

take care,  Jill M
