Good morning Stage 4 sisters. I've just spoken with Saint and received her permission to start a thread asking for prayers and support for her. I've placed it under the "Prayers" section of the boards.

She is feeling VERY poorly today and was given a day off of her rads treatment.

Tomorrow is her son's high school graduation. Thru tears we talked about being this close to the milestone -- and the beast attempting to snatch that away from her.

It would mean so much to have your voices in unision offering support at this time.

If you can navigate to the prayer area, please add your voice.

I don't suppose it would be awful to have a second thread unfolding in this section as well.

Edited to add the outcome of the graduation ceremony: Saint was NOT able to attend the event.

Keep up with my travels at: www.rainbowswithinreach.blogspot.com

Saint, I'm glad you got the day off from rads today.  Try and rest and relax.  Know that your friends here are thinking of you and praying for you.  I wish you the best for tomorrow too.  Congratulations to your Son.

Saint, sweetie, the timing really sucks for you to be so incapacitated! I pray the relief of no rads today will allow your body the ability to see your DS graduate! You are (still) in my prayers.

My dear, beautiful, wise, funny, sweet Saint!  I'm so sorry you're having a rough time of it, physically and emotionally.  It sucks big ones.  I wish I could prop you up as you have so much for me lately -- you are the best.

It is bittersweet -- the excitement of your son's graduation and that it is one of your "cancer survival milestones" -- you made it with flying colors.  Kathi calls you feisty -- that is the perfect word for you!!!  You are so stong and feisty!!  But it's OK to feel bad sometimes too, even though you don't want to.

I hope you are able to go.  If you can't, know that your son understands and will be thinking of you the whole time, and I bet he's as proud of you as you are of him.  Both of you have some wild BC ladies cheering you on today.  Congratulations to your son.  And I hope you are feeling better soon.

Sending my love your way,

Elizabeth

Saint, sorry you are so rough.... take the imodium girl...if any of my dogs get the trots I push 3 or 4 tablets in, and out comes concrete at the other end in hours !

I DO hope you manage to get to your sons graduation...all these years of waiting, and this hits right when you don't need it.

Thinking of you, and hoping to hear you made it to the ceremony, and are feeling better tomorrow.

Isabella.
