Good morning Stage 4 sisters. I've just spoken with Saint and received her permission to start a thread asking for prayers and support for her. I've placed it under the "Prayers" section of the boards.

She is feeling VERY poorly today and was given a day off of her rads treatment.

Tomorrow is her son's high school graduation. Thru tears we talked about being this close to the milestone -- and the beast attempting to snatch that away from her.

It would mean so much to have your voices in unision offering support at this time.

If you can navigate to the prayer area, please add your voice.

I don't suppose it would be awful to have a second thread unfolding in this section as well.

Edited to add the outcome of the graduation ceremony: Saint was NOT able to attend the event.

Oh thank goodness to come home & find your post.....

I didn't want to alarm anyone, but you did indeed sound 'scary-bad' yesterday. I'm sure you did belong in the hospital -- just where your DH wanted to take you.

When I didn't get an answer today I had to trust you were in good care.

I'm gonna copy & paste your post to the other thread.

Hugs for the duration..... and then a few more.

Saint, thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the energy to post.

So - to fulfil the many requests for Red Ribbons, St. Peter is drawing a big dye bath of scarlet -  St. Michael is weaving strands of shining satin and lace and St.Gabriel is writing the get well announcement (with Jesus looking over his shoulder to make sure he words it well) to go with the ribbons they are preparing.  I am not sure who is going to make the bows -  Oh yes - God Himself, He likes bows -  remember the first one of many colours he sent to Noah?  And we all join in the message -  We love you Saint and send our gentle hugs to give you strength and healing.

Saint put up this post 4 hours ago on her other thread. I wanted you to be aware of this news.

I have called every day this last week & she has been unable to answer her phone to speak.

This is the time for sending all of your love.

Here's what she wrote:

Sorry for the absence---dh took me to the hospital Fri afternoon for a draw & they admitted me....I am home now but not feeling so hot----BETTER,without doubt, but the facts seem to indicate that things are not improving on the blood issues.......more when I know more & can sit here a bit longer---hugs & thanx to everyone for prayers & support---I really need them now!

Be well & stay strong

I love that photo of Saint and her DD!  What an angelic look she has -- she is too d*mn cute!!!!  And what a proud Mama!  Beautiful photo!!

Saint!  I do think Barbe is onto something -- you are always better when Faith is there.  So, we gotta figure out a way to bottle Faith so you can spritz her around each morning.  And, listen to your DH -- if he wants to take you to the hospital, go!!!  OK?

I'm happy to read that you're feeling less crappy.  I hope you feel less crappy each day and quickly feel good again.  Do we have to send Faith there?!?!!  Love you girl,

Elizabeth

I am such a "rule follower"..... I felt awkward about continued posting here on the Stage IV thread, since the new guidelines have been posted.

To satisfy my guilt I asked one of the Stage IV "gatekeepers" for special permission to continue posting updates here for Saint, and was given a green light -- to those of us who are not Stage IV to continue posting here on her behalf. (Whewwwww & thanks)

I called Saint today & have not yet connected, nor heard back.

So I have no new news.

Here she is after her DD's play, with her handsome firstborn. He came home from college to be a part of the cheering section for his little sister:
