I also hope the rads are helping with your pain.  Your little iron bed looks so comfortable - I am inspired to create a nap space on my porch.  Best to you River!  lisa

Absolutely gorgeous roses!!!    The background at your house is beautiful.  Most of all, it is wonderful to see a picture of you.  You are a pretty lady!!!

Hope radiation is making a dent in your pain.   Keeping you in thought and prayer.

Oh River, you look great! I have a similar set-up on my front porch where I can go and snuggle when the weather is nice. Your roses are divine!

I am glad to be able to put a face to teh name and sincerely hope that you are feeling comfortable and pain free.

ElaineD,

No, XsMom is me, Glenda. I'm Times3 mom. Kendra has a full time job, 2 kids, a husband and lots of stress. So, I come here often for info and support for her (& me). We have met several wonderful friends and River is one of the most precious women on these boards and it has been an honor to get to kinow her here. She was having problems posting her pictures so I did it for her. Wendy is one of the lucky ones who gets to know River in person.

River, hope you're feeling better. Thanks for letting me help with the pictures. I know everyone is enjoying them. You're as beautiful as the roses!

Oops, sorry, I should have explained. My MAC computer is giving me so much uphill with image attachments in all software I have. I am ready to throw it into the pool.

Glenda X3s Mom, is a wonderful supporter of us all,  and is Glenda's Mum. She makes the most amazing puppets and Kendra is an artists (as am I), as well.

I emailed her my pics of the roses with my friend Wendy (who looks after me like a mother hen when my family are away), and I on my little farm verandah, in the Cape in South Africa.

I am hoping to rectify the image posting soon.

Take care,

Stopped after 4 Radiations. It seems my bodies taking too much strain. Still, the good news is the liver pain is no longer, just swelling pain. I still have 8 radiations in hand, should I become jaundiced or the pain becomes an issue again.

My Doctor says I have a lot of cancer activity elsewhere in my body. She seems to know more than I want to know. I think she saw, on the CT mark up for the liver rads.

I am sad, but its still one day at a time, one moment at a time. My DH wanted me to persevere with RADS, I think its the male thing, "fix it'. I've told him we have to savour each moment that we all have together - and not to make me feel like I am letting everyone down. Really feeling up against it and I know you will all understand. I've lost too much weight and I need  some quiet solace and special moments without the pressure of 'getting it right'. I've been having too many 'angry moments' which is not how I envisaged it.Cry

Feeling a little overwhelmed.

I don't know how I missed this thread.  River, what beautiful pictures.  It looks so peaceful and comforting to sit on your porch (or sleep LOL)  I hope you savor every moment you have.  As for letting people down, you can never do that.  We can only deal with so much of this crap and we all know when its time to say enough!  Take care my friend!
