Nicole ask dont tell the doc :) You need to check for your mom to be sure none of her specific meds interfere. Sis took Claritan daily after I believe her 3rd Neulasta and through her Taxol - some docs recommend less but she has allergies anyway so it wasnt a hard sell. \

I'd get horrible head aches and pains in my jaw, shoulders, hips, knees and legs. I took pain pills like M & M's for 3-4 days because the pain was so bad. Standing in a hot shower at least kept my head from feeling like it was going to split open...

Thank you everyone.  She was getting chemo every 2 weeks, but now they are switching her to every 3 weeks and discontinuing the neulasta.  She's been in pain this whole time and now she can't move her arm.  Its getting better, but they don't want to give it to her again. So no Neulasta, which makes me worry, but I would hate to see what another shot would do to her.
