Some women say they don't even bother with the cradles and either nest the forms among some socks or other soft clothing or leave them in a bra which they hang by the straps when not wearing them. If you really want to travel light, those solutions would probably work.

usually you can find something else with stiffness to nestle that into.

The TSA inspector will just have to wonder what that is if he/she opens you bag.

It made absolutely no difference to my silicone form to be cradle-less for 3 weeks, and not only have i not travelled with the cradle since, i don't usually bother with it at home, either. However, if i don't use the cradle, i do leave it in the bra when i'm not wearing it, both at home and away, because i'm afraid of punctures. I've had it just over a year now, and it is fine.

mouser - IDC 0.5 cm + DCIS 1 cm, 2007; Stage 1, grade 2, ER+PR-, Her-; lumpectomy, rads, letrozole. More calcs 2008; mastectomy.
