Topic: Worried about my symptoms

Hi everyone, I'm a new member to the forum.  I'm 37 and have noticed a change in my breasts a wk ago, they seemed fuller but wasn't worried about it.  By the end of the week my left breast started being a bit itchy by the weekend it got even more itchy.  On Monday morning while getting dressed I noticed a large patch of pinkaround my breast covering almost 3/4 of it.  I called and made an appointment to see a doctor at my clinic.  Went in a couple of hours later and was told it could be an infection or fungus?? and was put on antibiotics.  I mentionned to the doc that I was nervous about it being IBC she said that with IBC the rash would be dimpled like the look of an orange peel which it wasn't.  It almost even had a ring around the pink area also. No pain. Just itchy, pink and a bit swollen.  She said take the antibiotics for 2-3 days and see if it doesn't go away come back and I'll order some more testing.

 I started the antibiotics at noon on Monday and by that night the pink patch was now blotches instead of a large patch, still itchy though.  By Tuesday all the pinkness is gone but it's still itchy at times.  Now it's Wednesday which it's been 2 days of antibiotics, no pinkness but still itchy.  Does this sound like it may be IBC?  I'm just not sure if once I come off the antibiotics (in 8days) if it would be IBC that it would just come back, if there's a chance I wouldn't want to wait that long.  Or if it would be IBC could the rash go away temporarily with antibiotics?
