Good Morning - My assymetry is now leading to a biopsy this morning. Even though the breast surgeon and radiologist say it's likely nothing, I'm concerned. The reason they are doing it is because the density has changed over the past two years - enlarged. However, diagnostic mammo and u/s revealed no mass, just dense tissue. I was told it could be a pash or fibrocystic changes. Has anyone found cancer in this situation? Any thoughts?
Best Regards!

Sorry I dont have any experience in this, but I have found over the years that if the BS and radiologist arent concerned, their instincts are usually right. Hope this gives you some peace of mind while waiting for the results.
Hopefully someone with experience will be along to help you further.
Good luck with the biopsy and results

Thanks Lyndal. Just got back the radiologist that performed the biopsy told me twice she thought it was benign - once after reviewing u/s and next after the procedure. She said, "I'm almost 100% certain it's benign." So, that makes me feel better. Let's hope the results match the opinion. :)
