I just got off the phone with my onc. and he indicated that because I have three primary cancers (intracuctal, lobular and invasive ductal) that I am considered high risk. Have others been told this for the same reason? I am having to wait 2 1/2 months from lumpectomy to have mast.

dx10/9/07 Stage 1, IDC, DCIS and ILC, ER+/PR+ HER-

Did you have the OncotypeDX test to quantify that risk?

I don't think it's uncommon to have different cell features in the breast. My first tumor was IDC with a little DCIS and a few cells of LCIS. My second tumor, in the other breast, was ILC with a little LCIS.

Even with all those different cells, treatment should be effective. What are you going to do besides mastectomy? Chemo? Hormonals only?
