Hi Ladies,
I usually post in the ILC forum as that was my primary dx. But reading through my final pathology after a single mastecomy, the remaining breast tissue (what was left after my initial segmental mast) had extensive LCIS with pagetoid spread to the nipple. Since the breast was removed, does this also remove the increased risk of developing cancer in the remaining breast? Or is the marker of already having the LCIS irrelevent to which breast would potentially develop cancer. Geez, i hope this isn't too confusing
