Superficial cut landed me in the hospital

Ladies thank you for keeping me on the right path. I have been very insistence about no BP and sticks but poked myself with a sharp knife this morning on the way out the door to work and didn't take the time to do the proper thing. I will however correct that mistake now. Thank you and best wishes all.

How do u feel about your over-all chemo trt?

I actually wish I skipped the Taxoteer. As my son say's I went from a physically active 43 yr old to a can barely walk 44 yr old.

I should have reviewed my family history and the drug better as the neuroapthy was bound to happen.

This is just MY opinion as I'm still not comfortable with the physical limits on the new me.

FOOTBALL my favorite time of year

Okay ladies, I like football but I'm having a ruff time on the sidelines this year. My baby who is 14 yrs 6'3" 185 lbs and a freshman is playing on the varsity squad. He gets creamed every game as he's a tight end reciever. I find myself pacing the sidelines. We are only 3 of 8 games in and I'm not sure my heart can take it! For those mothers who's son's are playing pop warner this is what we get for all those Saturday's.

Go "Pat's" yes Belachek is a fool for cheating!

squeezing your implants!

I gave myself new girls for mothers days and was back to work in a week! Next step is the nipple and tats on Nov. 17th exactly 2 years from the start of my cancer! Also my ps said to be gentle with the implants and that the montions in my regular showering routine would be fine.

Best Wishes All

Herceptin side effects

Tropicmom,
I always take three tylenols as soon as I sit in the chair for my herceptin infusions. It really helps me with the stiffness and the chills.
Best Wishes,

Herceptin & hair growth

I have to agree hair and finger nails have taken a beating. I assume it's all the drugs.I'll be on some hormone for the next 4 years but I look forward to getting off the herceptin in May.
I have to say my short hair makes for speedy morning routine!
