Possible Recurrence over Implant

WHAT?!?!

Michelle I am praying it is scar tissue!  Of course you have to wait thru the d*&m weekend to get your test. Frown

I really believe it is scar tissue from your rads.  I saw my onc today  and we were just discussing (because my left side is feeling uncomfortable and a little different) how rads can cause scaring and changes in the tissue many, many years after tx.

I will be praying.....

BIG HUGS!

Active topics

I miss the active topics section where you could just click on it and see the lastest topics from all of the different threads.  I also like seeing who the original poster was of the thread.  I've been coming here since 2003 and have seen many changes.  But I really don't like this one.  I must say i always prefer this website because the discussion boards were so easy to manage and browse thru.  Now it looks just like all the others that i find difficult to browse thru and find who or what i am looking for.  I don't post much anymore but it was always nice to be able to easily check in with the active topic section.

I would've like to have seen spell check with all the new additions/changes

Morning Prayer

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Just wanted to report my good news--My bone scan was negative!!!! Praise the LORD! Thank you all for the prayers--the last couple days I have struggled to keep the fear away and give this all to God. Knowing that I had the prayers of others really helped! I pray you all have a beautiful Christmas and experience the pure peace and joy of Christ the King. Through Him all things are possible! May God Bless each of you.

Much Love--Wendy

Morning Prayer

Ladies--

Once again I'm asking for a few extra prayers! I'm going in this morning for a bone scan because of the pain I have been having in my back. My husband and I have decided to keep this underwraps from my family etc so my usual prayer warriers don't know about this. Thank you thankyou! I believe in the power of prayer! You are all always in my prayers.

God Bless--Wendy

Morning Prayer

Hi all--

Asking for a few extra special prayers today. I am having my ovaries removed and the permanent implants placed from my bilateral masts. My surgery is at 2:30 EST they think I'll be under for 2 1/2- 3 hours. I know God will see me through this as he has through all my other treatments and surgeries but I feel kind of numb and I'm having trouble focusing my prayers so if you would please pray for me I know that would help. Also my friend Deb is finally having her biopsy today. They are 97% it is not cancer but only the biopsy will really tell. Please remember her in your prayers as well. Thanks my sisters--you are all a blessing to me and all the gals at bc.org are always in my prayers.

May God Bless you and keep you.

Evening Prayer

Hi ladies--

Please pray for my friend Deb. She found a lump and is going in for mammo and ultrasound this week. I just had my last rads tx friday and was so excited to finally be done with tx. Now this--it really brought back all the worry and concerns and fear that I had 8 months ago. I am so sad that she has to experience any of it. Oh how I hate this #@%$ disease.

God Bless--Wendy

Evening Prayer

HI all--

Just wanted to thank you for your prayers last week when I had my labs drawn to check tumor markers etc. Everything looked good. PRAISE THE LORD! I saw my onc. yesterday and we reviewed everything I left out of there with tamox rx another new thing to look forward to (NOT). Oh well we do what we gotta do. Thanks again ladies. God Bless you all!
