TIME TO CIRCLE THE WAGONS GIRLS

I'm going to Atlantic City on Saturday so I'll be crying in my Malibu Bay Breeze when the slot machine takes all my money! I can't wait!

TIME TO CIRCLE THE WAGONS GIRLS

Here's a good one...Dirty Girl Scout...tastes like a thin mint cookie!

Ingredients:

* 1 oz White Creme de Menthe
* 1 oz Vodka
* 1 oz Kahlua
* 1 oz Bailey's irish cream

Mixing instructions:

Mix the vodka, Kahlua and Bailey's and pour over ice. Pour the Creme de menthe down the center of the glass. Looks gross, but tastes delicious!

TIME TO CIRCLE THE WAGONS GIRLS

Nicki~~Cancel your husbands act and you can come dance at the wedding! My neice is coming from Chicago so we can sneak you on the plane! I am making white chocolate rose lollipops for the wedding but instead of using rose leaves on the stick, I used shamrocks...looks cute.

Vicki~~~hmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder! LOL
What part of NY are you from. My husband moved here about 8 years ago from Brooklyn. Garritson (spelling is wrong I know) Beach area. He left and never looked back. The only time we go back is for a wedding or a funeral!

NS~~~your attitude is wonderful and that's half the battle...you will do fine!

Karen~~~When I was pregnant with him I wanted a St. Patty's Day baby but even then he was stubborn...came on the 20th! So the next best thing is a Green Wedding!

Deb~~~How in the hell do you live in Alaska! It's been hovering between 0-20 here with wind chills that I don't even want to talk about! I've had a chill in my bones for days!

Nicki~~~good luck with the port removal...another step in the right direction.

Jan~~~I'll take the Airdale! They are adorable...the twins are too LOL but I think I could keep up with the dog better than twins!!

I'm so confused with all these posts! LOL I'll get better!

Hugs

TIME TO CIRCLE THE WAGONS GIRLS

Amy~~~ My son is getting married on St. Patricks Day and after the last exchange surgery, lets just say that the boobs sit up a bit higher than I'm used to and was worried that I would look overly endowed in a strapless dress LOL It looked ok when I went for the fitting yesterday. Now all I have to worry about is balancing myself on the damn shoes!

Vicki~~~Oh I remember, you're my long lost sister! You never know...my father got around! LOL

Hugs

TIME TO CIRCLE THE WAGONS GIRLS

GOOD LORD HOW DO YOU ALL KEEP UP!?!?! LOL

I'm not lurking Jan, just trying to get a grip on all these conversations!!

We had such a nice lunch on Monday...The boards have been a Godsend for me since I was diagnosed but to actually sit face to face with someone who really understands was wonderful. Now we have to get the guys together to talk about their metal head days LOL Pizza and beer here we come!

And Jan...my boobs fit in the dress!

For Those of us Born between 1930-1979

We spent hours playing chinese jump rope...made our own with rubber bands! How about the flying saucers (tasted like communion hosts) with the little beads of candy in them? They still have them around.

Amy maybe you hit the nail on the head LOL Those damn beaters gave me breast cancer LOL

Converse sneakers...I couldn't wait to get a pair. I was in eighth grade. I felt soooooo cool!

We never had air conditioning until I was about 10. I slept in the attic...we called it the garrett...hotter than hell up there and no heat in the winter. I'm surprised I'm still alive! LOL

Wow, the more I read, the more I remember! We had milk delivered to the house and we had "the egg man" who would come every Friday night in his old beatup farm truck and sell eggs and vegetables. The only heat we had in a 3 story rowhouse was a coal stove in the kitchen with a 4 burner gas stove attatched to it. Lugged buckets of coal up from the coal bin to "keep the home fires burnin!" There was also a shoemaker in our neighborhood that would give us old shoe heels for hopscotch. Could you imagine the kids today?!?!

I love this thread! I'm a 1960 baby. Ravdeb, when you mentioned Ed Sullivan it reminded me of Sunday nights when I was little. After Ed Sullivan, Bonanza would come on. I just adored Michael Landon...Little Joe...Every year on my birthday my mother would send me a birthday card signed "Little Joe"...I was so thrilled LOFLMAO I think I was 9 years old before I figured it out!

And by the way...my dh and I still share the beaters!
