Anyone taking Xeloda Orally

So a little worried. I just started my 2nd cycle of Xeloda and today had my blood work done. My CEA marker went up still a low number but more than doubled. I will talk to my doctor in the am and see what's going on. Not sure if it's something to worry about or if my doctor will want to wait another cycle than do my blood work to see where it is then. I am just getting very frustrated with this emotional roller coaster and for the first time I am feeling very overwhelmed. Thanks again for all your support. It's just been so tough on my family my dad and my sisters. I wish I could convince then not to worry but my dad more than anyone is beyond stressed.

Taxol nose bleeds....again

I have been on taxol two different times and the most recent when I was diagnosed with Liver Mets. I was on weekly taxol and Avastin and Gemzar. The Avastin is what caused me tremendous nose bleeds  and at times I would wake up with my pillow red. It was frustrating but it got to the point when my nose was so sore and began to hurt. My Internal medicine doctor had me go to a ear nose and throat doctor and he put a tiny scope up my nose. He could see several lesions that the evastin was preventing from healing. He cauterized the blood vessels and that helped tremendously. I also used Astelin nose spray it tasted horrible but it was the only non steriodal spray out there and it made a significant difference.

Breast Pain

This may sound weird but I need some advice. I have been having severe breast pain in my healthy breast. At first I associated it with my period but a few days after the beginning of my cycle the pain went away only to return a few days after I ended. All of last week I had a low grade fever and chalked it all up to just being stressed about my cancer returning to my liver. I had a mastectomy 4 years ago and a breast reduction on my right side which is now causing pain. It's been 2 1/2 years since my reduction so I know that's not it. Friday I happened to have an appt with my oncologist to go over my how I was doing on the new oral chemo pill. I mentioned how tender my breast was and he examined it and said he felt fibrous noduals. He said it might be my hormones and that the pain would go away. Over the weekend the pain became worse and I could barely wear a bra let alone touch my breast. Tonight I finally had to call my doctor and say something wasn't right. After a lengthy conversation and him being totally confused he thought I possibly had cellutitis...something I've never heard of and just researched on the internet and besides the severe pain I don't have any other symptons. Any one else have a similar problem or I am just weird. He rushed an prescription of antibiotic and naperson which i just took. I am just a little worried that there's something wrong.

Anyone taking Xeloda Orally

Just started my 2nd cycle. Besides my hands and feet falling asleep at night side effects have been very tolerable. Thanks again for all your advice. I will have a PET scan after my 3rd cycle to see how my cancer's responding....this waiting drives me nuts. You would think after fighting this disease for 4 years I would have more patients:)

Anyone taking Xeloda Orally

I am 34 with Stage IV BC. Originally diagnosed with Stage IIIC then 3 years later had Mets to the liver. I was in remission for 9 months and has now returned back to my liver. I am about to start taking xeloda orally tomorrow. I have done a lot of research and have noticed that hand and foot problems are most common. Any advice while taking this.
