Please pray for my nephew

This is not fair, kids shouldn't have to deal with this sort of thing at all. My prayers to Jake and his family.

Taxotere and alcohol

Hi Annie, I have had a drink of wine and a beer while doing taxol and herceptin. Only a couple and that is the weekend before my next round. I found that it made me sweat even more then usual and a bit restless. Just remember that everyone is different. Cheers.

Hi everyone, boy sounds like we are all having a rough time. Started my first taxoletre and herceptin, thought is would be easier then having dense doses of a/c. Boy was I wrong, so ill that I'm not sure if I can go back again to do another. Hubby wants me to talk to the onc but I have had enough. Still have three more to go and they are suppose to be all dense doses, ughhhh.

Individual Cancer Cells in Lymph node

I too had micromets out of 7 nodes removed there was 2 benign tumours 2, with micromets under 2mm and 3 clear. They left it at that had a masectomy as the cancer was multifocal and my margins where clear. The only thing was thay said the would be agressive with my treatments as the cancer was agressive. I worried heaps and about the micromets but my onc seems to say that being under 2mm makes it hard for the to attach anywhere and grow hence lots of chemo to kill off any strays. Best wishes.

HI all, Merry Xmas just to let you know I'm still here 3rd round of a/c got me. Next week start herceptin and taxol muga scan first. Not looking forward to a new mix don't know how I'll react. Sorry to hear about you crystal it must be hard also being sick. Karyl I'm a great believer that when one door closes another one opens, hang in there. Not easy at home at the moment, if I have any sort of mood swing it comes back in my face. So hard to be in a perfect mood all the time, wish hubby would reliaze than I'm only human things can mount up. He takes everything to heart wish he would just say oh well its all right. Sorry to whinge but don't know where else to.

Hope every one has a good new years eve. Hugs all round.

Karyll so sorry to hear what has happened to you. Makes me so mad the way companies can just treat you like a object, don't they know we are human, haven't they got families, wheres the understanding? What Bull sh*t. Hope things work out for you. Sorry to go off but I know how hard it is just to get through this, with out the extra troubles on top. Take care.
