Well Today Totally Sucks!!Wendy, honey my prays are with you. I am a triple ++, but had no mets when dx. I had such an easy run with BC, I feel for all of you that have to deal with more and more treatment. I don't understand this crap disease, why some have it easy like me and some have it so hard. It also makes me feel bad having it easy, since I have no children. I pray for you Wendy and all you woman that have to deal with BC mets. Randi |

No ArimidixHi Ladies, I have a question, of those of you who are able to take AI's to prevent a reccurance, 1. Do you take them? 2. How are the side effects? I chose not to take them. I had a complete hysterectomy and feel that is enough. Am i fooling myself? Thanks for you input. RAndi. Triple + no nodes stage 2 IDC. |

Anyone had a recurrance after Herceptin? Thanks ladies for your input. I'm going to the onco tomorrow and demanding a pet scan and a bone scan. This is my body and I will not leave until they give me the ok for these test. I have insurance and that is what it is for. I hate when they refuse to give you test, it is not right. I will keep you informed. Randi |

Could it be.........Hi Girls, I'm having some real bad pain in my shoulder and on one of my ribs. I don't know what it could be from. I am 18 months out from tx. I had IDC stage 2, 4 a/c 12 weekly taxol/herceptin and herceptin for a year, 35 rads. I'm triple positive. Did a complete hysto, to get the rest of the hormones out. Been doing fine other than this. I do not take arimidex or any other of those drugs. Do not like the side effects. Any thoughts.... thanks Randi |

HelpHi girls, My Step-sister just sent me a picture of her boob, she has a red spot on it and it looks like IBC. But I'm not an expert. If you send me a pm I will send you the pic to get your opinion. I know her mother had BC in the past, so we are just a tad worried. Thanks Randi |

I can't.....stop smoking........Trix, I hear you, but like Lucy said Chantix, that is what I'm on and it is the best. I smoked like a chimmeny for years and now I'm down to like 3 a day, hoping to be done with them for good soon. I have been on the chantix for 2 weeks and I don't even know why I still smoke. They taste gross. I will put them down for good when I'm ready. Try it and go to this website to see more http://www.topix.com/forum/law/healthcare/TBP6PBH59IN2DVPTO Good luck |
