A beautiful letter from C.T.G.'s Mom

How precious. TY for sharing that.

When I lost my sweet and only sister, Sharon, in 2004...my daughter wrote something on a note on the flowers she sent. Her words came to my mind when CTG passed.

"Those who love the Lord, never really say goodbye for the last time."

See you again one day, sweet Laura. (and Sharon)

Moment of Silence in Memory of CTG

I will be there, with a candle it for our precious sister, Laura. Surely all over the world tonight, people wanted to know why it seemed a light had gone out.

Afghan for CTG

CTG, I hope you can feel my prayers and my love. You were the very first one who made me feel less afraid when I was diagnosed. I can only hope to be half as loved as you are.

All my love,

Lynn

Chatter Get Together! Let's Meet

Has anyone done a headcount on how many of us are going? I'm looking into the cost of getting us matching t-shirts! I was thinking pink with black lettering; maybe on the back it would say, "Mississippi or BUST" or "BREAST Friends".... Then on the front in smaller letters, it would have our nicknames (or real if you prefer) and say, "BreastCancer.org"  What do you think?Laughing

Ravencaine

I only knew Raven for a short while. She was one of the few who added me to IM, and we talked some times. She was a joy, and an inspiration and a friend to me. My love and prayers to her family in this difficult time. May you be given peace that passes all understanding.....may you know that Donna was well loved by many, and is missed so very much.

The Truth About Food

I found this recipe in a magazine I received yesterday (Women and Cancer) The recipe is called, "Immune Charger".

1cup carrot juice

1 teaspoon ginger

1/2 cup apple juice

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

It says, "clinical studies have found that ginger reduces the pain and swelling caused by osteoarthritis and has releived pain and/or swelling in 75% of arthritis patients. Apples have infection preventing abilities etc. Carrots are known as carotenoids that protect cells from environmental damage."

Sounds like a good drink ladies!!Laughing
