Cracked/split nails/fingers w/HerceptinI finished Herceptin 11/2006 and my fingers still split and my toes still look like I have a fungus. My dematologist told me to fill the split fingers with super glue, that it wouldnt hurt me and its cheaper than liquid bandaid. I give up on my feet. dx 2/5/5 stage III 2 lymph nodes + Her2+ Penneyz |

Help me here!I renewed my license after I lost my hair to. I had to go to the place, I was so sick and the line was long all I wanted was to lay down anywhere. I guess they felt sorry for me cause I looked so bad they let me keep my little hat on. I am a three year survivor but I still have alot of problems and some days I too want to quit becauseof all the financial, Insurance, medical bills, and being tired still. Herceptin TreatmentI took the Herceptin treatment for 52 weeks, I did the muga scans and had a drop also. I also had alot of bone pain and alot of side effects that were left over from my long chemotherapy treatments. I took the Herceptin treatments every week till I had some palpitations and weakness, but it got better after two weeks so I kept on with the treatments. I was dx 2/05/05 have had mastectomy with Axilla dissection. I had two positive nodes. I still have a lot of side effects and am still disabled due to chemo and herceptin. I dont know about 9 week treatments but it may be better as far as the risk. God Bless Penneyz |
