breast reduction....

I was just wondering... I had a breast reduction 8 years ago... yesterday the radiologist told me that the hard lump on my right breast is a "fatty scar" is it possible that when you have scar tissue the radiologist sees "abnormailites" as scar tissue????

Results, sorta

Okay i finally had my mammogram yesterday... they took lots of views. the radiologist said that the hard ( like a marble) lump in my breast is a " fatty scar that has grown out of my scar tissue from my breast reduction 8 years ago." If it is fatty why is it hard??? trying to decide if i should ask for a needle biopsy for my peace of mind. a friend of mine who is a nurse thinks i should.

Thanks !!!!

Rural Living

I have a question or two. I found a lump and am scheduled to see the doc in three weeks ( soonest they could get me in). I am 41 years old and live in a rural ranching community. Question 1. The nearest hospital to me that does cancer treatment is 1 hour away. If it comes to chemo or radiation how does that work? are you suppose to go everyday?? everyweek??? Question 2. If you have to go in for chemo or radiation can you driver yourself???

Question 3. how soon does the treatment make you sick??

Screening and Testing Links

I just joined today. I have found a lump in my breast and scheduled an appointment. The lump is a hard mass in my right breast, about the size of a marble.
