mastectomy

HI.. for showering with drains... I used a lanyard (spelling?)... a corded or flat cotton necklace-like thing..that are used to attach work IDs or workplace badges.... i used the metal hook/clip of the lanyard...and placed the pin that was attached to the plastic bulbs of the drain thru the lanyard.. so i washed without any problems... no pulling on the drains... it sure made showering easier.. (no fear of pulling drains out).... Thanks to my sister for the idea!! : )

free tram flap surgery on 4-28-08

Jodi (and Tasha)... I am scheduled for the TRAM FLAP in a few weeks.... I am having the muscle and tissue moved.... I'm concerned about the after pain and recovery of that vs. the actual mastectomy and reconstruction.. though I've heard it is difficult at first.. but gets better as time goes by.... Tasha.. wondering where you live as you mentioned only 1 doctor does it in your country...??
