pleomorphic calcifications

Ok. I had my biopsy yesterday. It wasn't near as bad as I anticipated, but I am pretty sore today. They say they should let me know the results today or tomorrow, so thats good. Right now I feel the weight of the world off my shoulders just having the test over with. Thanks to everyone for helping me through this.

pleomorphic calcifications

Hi, Just a quick update. They have me set  up for a stereotatic(sp) breast biopsy on the 15th. They said it doesn't hurt or anything. I'm nervous as I have breast implants, but they say it will be ok with them. So, by this time next week I should know something. Yeah!

pleomorphic calcifications

Thank you Leaf. It almost brings tears to my eyes to hear from others out there. I guess it also makes it worse for me because for the last year I have been focusing on this bladder biopsy they are finally going to do. That has always been where my problems are. Then to just get a screening mammogram and bam. I know that node has been swollen for a while but I just chalked it up to other things. Now I wonder. I haven't been in this state for long, just a year, and my relationship here is new. He has already said he didn't know if he could handle my school schedule, we'd have to see. Now with this he says he just doesn't know if he can deal with this. Ok. Venting again. Thanks and hugs to everyong in a knot tonight.

pleomorphic calcifications

I just reread my post and meant to say that the birad 4 diagnosis came from clustered pleomorphic calcifications. I have also had a swollen axillary lymph node on that side for about 2 monthes now. I now have an appt. on the 11th with the surgeon to get more types of xrays and supposedly set the date for the surgury. I am trying not to be a nervous wreck. Just reading on here and getting hope, and venting a little I suppose. I have no family where I am at. Thanks to all out here.

pleomorphic calcifications

Hi everyone,

I have already been a nervous wreck as I am going through some Urology issues. Had an atypical cytology report and persistant hematuria so am scheduled for a bladder biopsy in October. Went last week for a yearly mammo as part of a physical to start my Nursing clinicals.( My mother died of breast cancer and I am in school to get a BSN degree). They called me back the next day for spot magnification on the right breast. They then sent me with the films and reports to a breast specialist who is suppose to call me today and let me know what the surgeon says. I am birads 4, and I looked up pleomorphic and that usually means malignant. I am as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof. I just called the office and got the voice mail so I hope someone calls me back soon. Trying to do full time school, full time work, take care of my son, and now deal with this is just wearing me down emotionally. Thanks in advance for the ear

Hugs
