herceptin and fatigueI just finished my year of herceptin.. I felt ok.. sometimes a little headache, tired on the night of treatments.. have a little water retention but that can be from arimadex or menopause.. achy yes and insomnia here and there.. that has been through the entire cancer treatement.. We are on so many treatemtns and meds you never know what is causing the side effects.. I keep a journal so I can see what comes and goes.. Best of luck and you will be done before you know it TRISH Trish Dx 8/23/2006, DCIS, 1cm, Stage Ia, 0/3 nodes, ER+/PR+, HER2+ |

taxotere, carboplatin and herceptinI am done with everything.. and just finished a year of herceptin treatments.. its seems so long ago but I do rememember it well.. I bought a wig and hated it so I wore those cotton lovies with diff scarfs and sometimes justs went bald.. I never was bothered my the hair loss and felt so free.. its when others look at you like oH SO SAD FOR YOU that is bothered me... bald is beautiful girls and since I am at the other end I can help pull you through.. get massages, peds, makeup sessions.. pamper yourself.. Anyone started Arimidex in 2008?Taking armidex for 2 years now.. I have my hands and face are puffy in the morning.. My ankles hurt in the am as well but loosen up as the day goes on.. The puffy face/water rententioin is what bothers me and I am not sure if it is from the armidex or the menopose they put me in by taking my ovaries out too.. I am 44 years old and had stage 1a breast cancer with a lumpectomy, It was hormone pos and Her2 pos so I did chemo and radiatiation.. so god knows if the side effects come from any of that.. I also just finished a year of herceptin.. I am so over the face swelling but as my doc said its better than cancer.. Trish Dx 8/23/2006, DCIS, 1cm, Stage Ia, 0/3 nodes, ER+/PR+, HER2+ |
