if i came your way i'd fly out of detroit into seatle and i'd suggest the same route, in reverse, if anyone wanted to come my way!..........much cheaper! i live right on the border, so i could pick anybody up in detroit in a heartbeat!

If people have to fly into Calgary to get to the party, I can pick anyone up, and have lots of room for people to stay overnite?

Where should we have the party??

HI Maybe we could organize some regional get together's, after all it is a few thousand kilometres from coast to coast. I would be happy to go to either coast but understand that it is far and expensive for most of us.

I see some ladies from south eastern ontario, would anyone be interested in getting together from this area?

We actually used to live in Innisfail LOL

Maybe we can meet half way for coffee??

But it probably won't be until after December. I don't have weekends off right now and you still work and probably need your rest on your days off.

How are the treatments going??

Hi Leanna,

Good luck with your surgery, I'll be thinking about you.

I will be at VGH having my port for chemo put in Tuesday. Would be great to get together once I find out how well I react to the drugs Tongue out (trying to think positive).

Hugs and all the best tomorrow

Leanna,

I'm so glad to here your surgery went well, hope its not too painful. Waiting for the results is the absolute worst isnt it. I hope it all comes up clear as can be!

The port placement went well and was a fairly quick procedure. I was in a quite a bit of pain that night so I broke out my pain killer prescription bagLaughing.I had my first chemo the next day (yesterday) and that wasn't too bad either. The worst part of it all is Ive had my monthly 4 day migraine through all of this. Otherwise I am taking all the meds prescribed and have had minimal side effects so far. Hope it stays this way, but I here day 4 or 5 can get bad.

I go back to VGH tomorrow for a bone scan then onto the Cancer Agency to learn how to give myself filgrastim/neupogen injections Tongue out boy sounds like fun.

Take care and try to get lots of rest to recover. Big hugs and be well.

Hi Kosh and Suz:  I came back!!! I am another Langley(ite) and know we just have to get together soon.

I just got my nipples on Wednesday and can hardly wait to see how they look.  Right now they're well hidden under gauze and steri strips but soon.

Any more news Kosh and congratulations Suz.
