Just what the Subject is asking.
Im hoping to find some Her2 + Low Score Oncotype DX ...Since I didnt have enough tissue to test.
I am wondering if it every happens.
If you did get a low #. What was your stage & grade also.
Thanks,
Pam

Hi. my tumor was not Her2 + but it was a grade 1. My onc score was an 8. I was told a grade 1 tumor is not common especially in younger women. I was 42 at the time. If I had to guess I would bet your oncotype score would be in the low range simply because your tumor is a grade 1. Stacey |

I had some confusing Her2 test results so we are going with positive. My oncotype dx was a 9. Onc said it is unusual for a low oncotype to be her2+. I am stage 3a, grade 2. Sue Ellen 1 Internal Mammary Node Positive - Her2 Status undetermined: polysomy of chrom 17 - Oncotype Score 9 - 4 AC, 12 weekly Taxol/Herceptian, 5 weeks Rads, Arimidex.

I am also not Her2+, but I am a stage 1 (.3cm), grade 1 pure tubular -- my Oncotype was in the low range, but was a 16 -- was actually much higher than what I expected for a low grade, tiny tumor and tubular is supposed to be favorable. I did not do chemo, but would have liked my score to be lower, but it is what it is. M. |

I'd also like to add that I too, was dx with grade 1 tubular (had three pathologists read slides and readings ranged from "tubule like features", to "tubular" to "pure tubular"). My oncotype came back at 16 with a tumor size of 1.1 cm. I did not do chemo as well as it was not recommended and like Mamhop I would've loved a lower score. So how does this make any sense? |
