Hi to all!
I have been having abd pain (sharp pains and constant swelling of the feet, night sweats) for the last couple weeks. My PCP ordered CT Abd.
I just received results and not quite sure if I should be worried or not. Based on what I've been reading on some of your responses to others this too may be normal.
1) Findings: There are multiple low-density liver lesions, some are too small to characterize, the largest is seen within the inferiro aspect of the left lobe, measuring 2.3 cm, with Hounsfield units suggestive of cysts.
The size alone worries me when I think about it from a breast tumor size. I've read that most of you stated these are usually B9. The size just scares me.
2) There is a focal prominence of bilateral adrenal glands, right greater than left probable benign adenoma. The right measures approximately 1.6 x 1.6 cm and the left measure 1.7 cm.
Again, the size.
If it were mm's or too small to measure, I would not be that worried.
My PCP has ordered some additional lab work, submitted referral for endocrinologist and gastroenterologist. Since I'm scheduled to see my onc next Friday he gave me a copy of the report to share with him.
Any insight you can give would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
