Hello ladies ib would welcome any advice. My affected right arm is showing a lot of little lumps on the forearm. They aren't big but I know they are there. There is a larger more visible lump on my. Wrist which is painful - the wrist not the lump. A painful wrist was one of my initial symptoms. The lumps are not red or painful just like bumps under the skin.

Apart from the armpit, it seems to me that the wrist is the most likely area on the arm to pool lymph fluid. Have you done anything more vigorously than usual? A sore wrist was one of my first symptoms too, even though, initially, I had no obvious swelling there. A lump (about 1.5 inch) developed on my wrist from doing over vigorous housework a few months ago without my compression sleeve. I have had weekly MLD massages since then and do self massage but it has never really gone away. Jinky - that's interesting about the foam under your sleeve. I might try that. gb |

Hi, Carole, Is this the new sleeve that's giving you trouble? (Didn't you just get a custom sleeve?) For sure don't wear the sleeve that's leaving marks until you can see the therapist again and get it straightened out. In the meantime do keep it elevated as much as possible. Phooey! geebung, what IS that adorable creature in your avatar? Is it a joey? Is it yours?! Be well! Binney |

Yes Binney - it's a baby swamp wallaby. My son found it last week after its mother was caught in a fence and threw him out of her pouch. (They do that when they are in danger). It was in a very busy suburban street (bushland nearby) so she wouldn't have been able to come back and get him. I looked after the darling until a wildlife carer came and picked him up to rear him. He was so sweet and incredibly beautiful! The photo doesn't do him justice. I have never seen such huge beautiful eyes! gb |
