It has been about three weeks since I completed radiation therapy.  The past couple of days I've started having a discharge from the breast that was radiated.  I can't find anything anywhere online that would indicate that this is a regular side effect of radiation or chemo.  Has anybody else ever experienced this?

I've had non-spontaneous discharge prior to radiation and mentioned to my breast care doctor...if the discharge is spontaneous or if bloody or clear in color, my breast care doctor said needs to be checked.

It never hurts to call your doctor...they are more than willing to answer ? My doctor doesn't want me stressing and encourages me to call with any concerns...I have used his advice and I'm not near as stressed as I would have been if I hadn't of asked.

Good luck...try not to worry and call your doctor as soon as you can.

God Bless!
