If you look up user JillT you will find info from her and this is her caring bridge blog http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jilltollefson She did the stem cell transplant. I believe that last post I read from her she said she would not recommend it. I also discussed it with my onc awhile back to see what he thought. My thinking was maybe if I tried to catch things while my disease is not to much in my body I would have a good shot of remission or cure. He was not a fan and had a lot of compelling reasons why he would not recommend it. Sorry can't remember them all right now, but I know he had me convinced at the time of the conversation.
