If my DIL has not delivered by Wednesday her OB is going to induce labor on Wed May 14th! We are getting all excited and prepared for the new little one to invade our home!!! So it is 5 days until the arrival!!! It's very exciting for us, the down side is we have to be at the hospital at 2:40 in the AM!!! The doctor said he will be there between 8 and 9 and expects her to be ready to deliver close to the time he arrives. Sounds like he has done this many times before to have the timing so down pat! Anyway, when I dissappear for my grandson to arrive I will be sure to post photos ASAP!!!! Life is hectic with Ricky living with us right now (he is only 10 months now) let alone another newborn but thats what keeps me going!!!! Gotta love those little ones smiles and hugs! Great news Grandma! Nothing like a new baby to bring joy and hope into our lives. Sending prayers for a safe and comfortable delivery and a beautiful, healthy little boy. Aren't grandkids just the best? The circle of life - when I think of dying early from cancer, I just think of the children and grandchildren and remember that they are part of me living on. It helps me sometimes. dx triple neg in 2005, mets to mediastinal nodes 12/07 , chemo Jan - April 08, remission 2/08; CT scan 4/08 showed one healing spine lesion, currently on chemo break, followup scans scheduled for late July; fingers crossed for no progression!

Luann, I know how excited you must be. My daughter gave birth to our 2nd granddaughter March 27th and I can't wait to see her! they live in the midwest and I live in the west but have my plane ticket in hand for June 3rd! Thanks all, we are getting ready here, today we set up the bassinet, got the car seat ready along with a few other odds and ends. Tomorrow it will be getting all the tiny baby clothes put in the dresser, since this is a boy and the first was a boy, clothing wise this is easy! I'm getting excited just thinking about that grandbaby of yours coming this week. As you already know, these babies are one of God's greatest gifts! Love and prayers to you and your family, Luann. May the sweet feel and smell of a new baby bring you peace and joy. P.S.
