Pain is almost never a symptom of breast cancer (although in a few cases it is), so that is in her favor. Still she needs to know what is going on. That way both she and you can rest easier. I'm praying that you both get good news. |

The only way to receive true reassurance that all is okay with your girlfriend is for her to make an appointment with a doctor and have the lump checked out. Please keep us posted. hugs, vicki |

Please calm down and get her to the Dr. I would guess it does have to do with hormones...and not related to cancer (although many of us have cancer related to hormones) but the only way to know for sure is for her to go to Dr. No family history does not exclude her...there has to be a first...but 19 is very young for that. I appreciate that you are being a good boyfriend....but it is time for her to turn to Mom and Doc for help with this. As boyfriend your job is to get her to take care of herself RIGHT NOW! Good luck and what a smart guy you are to get on line and try to find out what is going on. If she needs us we are here..but hope she does not need us. |
